Summarize the content of the book –


A. For Fiction Form Genres—Explain the characters, the setting, theme and plot of
the book.
 One morning, B.B. wolf huffed and huffed up the hill to his mailbox. “bills, bills, bills”
he growled, then he got a mysterious envelope. It was an invitation for the annual
storybook tea at the library. He asked his best friend the crocodile if he should go to the
tea. The crocodile said “you go to the tea for the cookies not for the tea”, cookies
murmured B.B. wolf. You will have to behave warned the crocodile, B.B. wolf chewed
the end of his tail nervously. The crocodile read a book of etiquette to his friend. B.B.
wolf made up a song to help himself remember. On Tuesday afternoon, B.B. wolf put
on his best jacket, his fried told him to have a good time and to do not bite anyone.
B.B. Wolf took a deep breath and opened the library door, everyone turned to look at
him and he smiled nervously. B.B. wolf was beginning to have fun. The librarian asked
Mr. B.B. Wolf if he wanted some tea, and he reply yes, while he was looking around
for cookies. After his third cup of tea, B.B. Wolf’s tummy felt funny and made a noise,
gurgle, gurgle. He forgets that magic word and when to the computer to ty etiquette,
then he grabs a book and pawed through the pages. “excuse me” said B.B. wolf,
buurrp! Books bounced, windows rattled, walls shook. Run as fast as you can screamed
the gingerbread boy. B.B. Wolf you almost blew down the library said the three little
pigs. “What good manners do you have” said miss Wonderly to B.B. Wolf “Most
people don’t say excuse me’ until after they burp”. B.B. Wolf smiled from ear to ear,
Ms. Wonderly held out a tray of tiny gingerbread people. “I could never bite a cute
little gingerbread boy” said Mr. B.B. Wolf. “you are so kind and sensitive. Storybooks
don’t do you justice” Exclaimed Miss Wonderly. At five o’clock Ms. Wonderly give a
bag with cookies and thanks him for coming “the children love reading about you” said
Ms. Wonderly.” You’re welcome, I’ll drop by one day and tell you how these stories
really happened” said Mr. B.B. Wolf. A happy old wolf loped home, munching cookies
as he sang.
Explain how the book appeals to children, their interests, developmental levels, fun
illustrations etc. Give specific examples from the book:
 It talks about the good manners that the wolf has, children can discus what good
manner do they have and how they learn them.
 Children can discuss what other stories have they heard about wolf.
 Discuss if the crocodile is a good fiend and why?. Asked them if they have best
friends.
 It also talks about cookies and tea. Discuss with they children if they have ever tried
tea and asked them if they like it or not. also talk about cookies, if they know how to
cook cookies, which cookies do they like?.

 The book used an easy language that can be very easy for a child to understand. the
images show more in details what is happening in the story and even they character are
animals’ children may feel identify with the character.
