Explain: All students were actively engaged and participated throughout the class
activities.

Explain: In this lesson teacher was using question& answer method and student-
centered method by having them involve through some games. With the help of
particular games, the content automatically has been cut into smaller pieces to be
learned.

__ Other: Apart from all these materials teacher used games which students can use
over and over. And also, teacher used awarded targets as motivating method.

Explain: For example, teacher shows them a game and selects students randomly to
play. All students take turn only once. The awarded targets mean, every student gets
(+) for each good manner or a correct answer. By the end of the lesson if a student
reaches 3(+) s teacher gives 1 lollipop to that student.

Explain: Every student has his/her own task to accomplish. Each one was being
involved individually. But towards ending, teacher gave them worksheet as classwork.
However, they were asked to work on it individually, the ones who needed attention
were paired by the teacher to work on the questions together.

Explain: _Students were listening attentively while the teacher lecturing and answering
teacher’s questions by raising their hand. Sometimes teacher created a discussion
medium and some students discussed for about 5-6 minutes

Explain: the English classroom is a well-designed classroom. As the students enter the
class they feel ready for the lesson. And the teacher’s materials were ready on the table
and there was no waste of time. Majority of the students were self-disciplined. But
teacher had to redirect the students who practiced inappropriate behavior, such as
making noise. And teacher’s positive reinforcement was really nice, it was encouraging
them seriously.

OVERALL COMMENTS AND REFLECTIONS:


This classroom was English Language class for 6th graders. This school is selecting its
students with an exam. Thus, there was no special education student in the classroom.
The teacher was the only director in the class. However, students were mostly well-
behaved and listening attentively. Yet there was one boy sitting at the back and reading
a book. The teacher noticed him, but didn’t warn him directly in order not to distract
the others. Instead, he asked the next question directly to him, so that he stopped and
understood that the teacher was actually seeing him while he wasn’t paying attention.
Apart from this example there was no engagement problem.

Overall, the class lesson was really nice and productive. All students did their classwork
seriously, some needed attention and teacher either ask them to work in pairs or
attended them by himself. After the bell rang students left the class satisfied and
happily.
