Epiroc IT are currently seeking driven individuals to take part of the Epiroc IT organization as the
APAC IT Security Specialist. Your main focus will be operational and advisory towards the
business/IT Operations and aid in remediation of audit findings within the entities located in Asia
Pacific (APAC). You will play a crucial role in the security incident and response procedure and
will ensure that IT security operational procedures, such as DRP, are implemented successfully.

Job description
As an IT Security Specialist in the APAC region, you will drive IT Security related projects within
your region. You will also be working closely with the Security Operations and act as an internal
consultant within your region as well as aid in audit remediation. Furthermore you will follow-up
on IT Security awareness training and play a key role in the management of Data Loss
Protection and Prevention (DLP) and its roll-out. For the day-to-day operational duties you will
report to the Global IT Security Manager, with the local administrative management line in the
region you will be located.
Experience requirements
Minimum 5 years working experience within Information Security and/or Operations.
Strong technical background and an ability to stay tuned with recent threats and technologies.
Ability to work independently and work in a fast paced environment with several different tasks.
Understanding of business and the IT infrastructure of Epiroc.
Well organized and able to operate independently in line with guidelines.
Hands-on experience from IT operations .
Be familiar with project management methodology, including controlling project scope, schedule,
quality, milestones, stakeholder interactions, and communications.
Knowledge / Educational requirements
A university degree in Computer Science .
Several years of experience in IT Security and industry certifications such as CISSP/ CISA or
SANS is an asset.
Personality
The job requires a lot of collaboration so strong interpersonal and communication skills are a
prerequisite to be successful in the role.
A proactive personality is desired, with a mindset to deliver in line with expectations and
objectives as the work is conducted with full responsibility and flexibility within given frames.
We also expect you to be well structured, service minded and adaptable to change. You should
also have good strong leadership, analytical and administrations skills as they are vital for this
role.
You must be able to travel international minimum 20 days/year.
