The importance of the accountant

Consider the value that should be given to accountant is a complex task and even though there
isn't a estimate precise it, their contribution to the development of the organizations, their role as
assistant of the state and their function oriented to the care of the interest of the society can be
taken into consideration. So valuable is their role which would be unthinkable in the management
inside the companies without the work of accountants, absence that, large scale, would strongly
impact the operational capacity of the economic sector.

The accountant today is a comprehensive professional, coming to become an expert connoisseur

of the company in the development of their functions, and is precisely this understanding which
enables it to analysis and discernment demanded by the different contexts and requirements of
companies. It is necessary to change the general conception that sees in the accountant only a
preparer of financial information necessary for the presentation of reports and the fulfillment of
fiscal or legal requirements, by that of a key professional in the generation of value in the
industries.

The value of the accountant should start with its importance, evidenced by his preparation and
performance (capacity and competition) in diverse and complex tasks that can only be exercised
by him and that are an important support for the management; demonstrating that he knows the
different types of organizations and sectors in order to provide suitable advice based on the size
and reality of the various economic entities, whose participation n is transversal to all areas and
institutional interests; contributing actively to defining and addressing strategic plans that make
possible the growth of enterprises.

It is evident that there is work to be done for those who constantly analyze their opportunities for
improvement, those who aspire to provide a level of service focused on excellence, motivated by
a very high ethics and love for what they do and represent. The accountants who dream of a
strong, united and outstanding guild. This is precisely the reason why they need to develop their
potential given that not all have the same professional skills learn to work on it as a yearning and
commitment that is assumed to face the challenges present and those that are to come.
