As a teacher, I believe that a child's future begins at school, so it is important to

provide him with an environment that supports and develops their capabilities. In the
beginning, the teacher should be flexible, patient, a good communicator and attentive.
A teacher's job is not only to teach a child how to read, write and count, it's also to
teach how they can be responsible about them self, how to deal with their classmates
and how to respect others. In my opinion, I think the best teacher for the Emirates
children are the local teachers, because they know well traditions and the environment
of the country. I want to teach, because first I love teaching and it is my dream job,
second because teaching is the most important job in the world, if there are no
teachers there will be no doctors, no pilots, no engineers, etc., so the teacher are the
foundations for the rest of major.
In my teaching philosophy statement, I will reveal about the three different topic that
has positively impact my teaching practice.

 Learning by doing:
There are different ways to teach students, but I think the best way to teach is by
doing. When the teacher gives the students the chance to play and try, they will
enjoy what they're learning and understand the lesson. My goal is to teach the
students in fun ways and also, in a way that they can understand. So, in the end of
the class the students will understand and enjoy the lesson. Furthermore, to enjoy
the lesson a teacher can use different teaching methods, such as PPP, TPR or CLA.
In my opinion, I believe that TPR is a good method, because the children have
move and use their bodies, so that make them active and focuses with the teacher.
Also, the students will learn better because it will be easier to understand
especially if it is a vocabulary lesson.

 Encourage learner autonomy

The best way of teaching is to use students approach. From my experience in
teaching practice for four years, I noticed that the students who are used to
student-center are more collaborative and they have better communication
skills. Moreover, when the students work in centers they interest more in the
learning, and almost all the students participate in the learning process.
Students who are using student-center are more independent students, they can
do works by themselves. Having different level activity will make the learning
better for the students, because it will correspond their level. “Children develop
cognitively by interacting with both adults and more knowledgeable peers.
These interactions allow students to hypothesize, experiment with new ideas,
and receive feedback” (Darling-Hammond, 1997).

 Use of technology

Now a days, technology and media are playing an important role in the society.
In my opinion I think using technology in the class is very good way to teach,
because students must learn the 21 century skills. According to Pacific Policy
Research Center, 2010, there are three important themes in 21 century skills,
firstly is 21st Century Critical Learning and Innovation Skills, 21st Century
Life and Career Skills and 21st Century Information, Media, and Technology
Skills. The 21th century skills is based on research that shows how people can
benefit from using technology (computers, phones, webs...). from my
experience I found that using technology in the classroom gives students the
ability to find more information than what they can find in the text books. So,
its expand the knowledge of the students.
