Academy divides their organization in 3 parts i.e, for learners, for teachers & for
parents. This organization prepare the students for quality education. They provide all
courses like science, arts, commerce, computer science, & many more. Everyone can
prepare for tests like SAT, GMAT, CAHSEE, LSAT, IIT JEE, MCAT, etc. Their
mission is to provide a free, world-class education to anyone, anywhere. Khan Academy
is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. There are thousands of supporter from around the
world, lifetime giving $10,000,000 and above Bank of America, Google, Comcast,
AT&T, Amgen Foundation, Oracle & many other organization they support for money.
In Khan Academy anyone can work like a volunteer & Evan Lewis support Volunteer,
Discussion community Guardian, Special Projects (2017 - present), Josh Kline support
Volunteer, Discussion community Guardian, Special Projects (2015 - present), Gilbert

GeeksforGeeks is also most popular e-Learning platform for online courses of

computer science like algorithms, Data Structures, Programming languages C, C++,
JAVA, Python, C#, etc. They prepare you for interviews of top IT companies like
Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Wipro, TCS, etc. They provide education material in pdf
& documents only, not video lectures. They also provide an environment for
implementing the concepts like IDE (Integrated Development Environment) this works
like your computer lab in school or colleges. GeeksforGeeks provides quality material
for all courses. They provides tests series for preparation of placements of IT
companies. They also provides material for interview preparation. They provides
internship opportunity to the learners. Any learner can share interview experience &
recruitment process in college or anywhere, anyone can write articles for topics of
learning & anyone can access this site, this site is free of cost for everyone.

4. Problems of E-learning Sites:-

a) Coursera assignments & quizzes are not so easy for common student their level is
high. Firstly students faces the adaptability struggle problem i.e, switching from
traditional classroom and face to face instructor training to computer based training
in a virtual classroom. Adaptability problem starts due to no interaction between
tutor & learner. Their platform is large & complex because they provide each type
of course. Learners can asks can queries in threads & these threads are old means no
response comes from instructor they close these threads. Assignments & quizzes are
not easy & if they cannot complete in that week then a student cannot earn the
certificate of that course. Another problem comes for learners is high speed internet
connectivity. Their course contains lot of videos of length more than 15 minutes &
size more than 100 Mb of a video. So, sometime there is an problem comes for
downloading these videos, buffering & more for internet connection. Not the ends
of these problems another issue comes in that platform of time management for
students. They provides pre shooted videos & give some weeks (4-11) normally but
problem is that if anyone cannot complete their course in that time then student can
join another session of that course & give another weeks from starting & anyone can
repeat that for infinite time after completion students can earn the certificate by
paying money. Basically, this is normal problem because learner starts online &
cannot manage their time. They provides paid courses & student can pay after
completion of course to earn the certificate. Learner can switch session many times.
So, this is the problem of human capital on that organisation because most users
wants free education not the certificates.
b) Most of students cannot learn in one time by reading pages online, e-books & online
classes human mind is not so consistent, cannot concentrate more than 15 minutes
usually for reading books but if you say to play games, watch movies then everyone
can concentrate. GeeksforGeeks provides only reading material pdf, e-books &
question papers, learners cannot concentrate for complete course through e-books
they want some interesting because if they can understand directly through books
then they can read offline books & attend classes but our mind is not so sharp &
cannot concentrate but GeeksforGeeks providing only documents of these courses
in pdf format & if a learner goes to that site for a complete course, they could
frustrate from the site architecture because their website is not so interesting but they
have highest rating for eLearning site. Their website show the page of the course &
if a learner wants to go to next part of tutorial then he need to go back to the main
page & then they can select the next part tutorial means for next part they should go
to previous then forward, this is so frustrating. Like most of the eLearning websites
GeeksforGeeks format offers students great flexibility i.e, they can take the course
when & where they like, at their own pace and with no limitations & at the end
students cannot complete the course. There is no certification for the courses, so this
is also an issue of not using this website for learning purpose because most of the

students wants certificates after completion of course, so this is another disadvantage

of GeeksforGeeks eLearning website.
c) Learner’s thinking sometime going for certification course & Khan Academy not
provides certificates. Their courses section are like math, science & computer
science. Computer science section not contains programming languages but their
math section is alright. They sections are for kids. They still have teahers to teach
them at school, a review from a user Brian Blood for this website is like that I have
a problem mainly with the science and computer science sections. In the science
section, it is just a bunch of videos to watch, there is nothing really that you learn
and nothing that validates you learned the subject. This is contrary to the math
section where there are quizzes and work that must be completed to move on. In the
computer science section, it is extremely bland and hard to figure out. I have never
really gotten it and gotten stuck multiple times. They have very few languages that
they offer. The science section of Khan Academy are lacking, but otherwise it is a
great site to go and learn.

5. Objectives:-
 eLearning is the latest trend of education to provide a better quality training like,
video lectures, webinar, live tutorials, threads (for queries, generate new threads and
search your query in existence thread).
 To overcome the problems of learners like adaptability Struggle (switching the
session from offline classroom to online classroom of no interactivity with teachers),
online training is boring, technical issues (mainly concerns with network
connectivity), time Management, Students can’t practice, the online course has no
impact of human capital on your organization (because most of the learners wants to
learn free of cost).
 BLANKEARN wants to provide better quality education for everyone, anytime &
anywhere.

6. Methodology:-
Methodology is the set of rules to solve a particular problem & to complete the
objective. And can say that methodology is the systematic way to solve a problem. It is
the theoretical analysis of study. Set of methods defines how can we solve the problem
& how can they provide the solution. Let us consider an example of a IT company which
provides the solution for another companies & for clients also & they defines their
methodology or set of methods for solution like Program Design, Process mapping,
Preparing, Piloting the solution and Implementation & support. In this example they,
defines their methodology clear that first they understands the requirement because
requirements is the main & first key of the project and design the according to the
requirements, second they map the clients requirements to the project, third check
solutions for the requirements and fourth & last is the actual works starts like coding &
after that deployment & maintainance of that project. So, methodology defines the set
of activities, set of rules to follow the principles applied to the project. Methodology
not provides the actual solution it is the only logical approach to complete the project.
Methodology is similar to paradigm.
Methodology means the set of methods or procedures, how to approach the project for
a solution & what is the technique behind the project to provide a solution. How we can
differentiate between methodology, approach & technique. Consider an example of the
project or problem of a project then approach defines the plans according to the
requirement’s & objective means what is your perspective to solve the problem.
Methodology is the set of methods & activities like planning, coding & implementing
the solution means how we can achieve the goals of the problem in a systematic way.
And technique is the trick we can say that, technique means what method you can apply
to solve the problem. Consider an example of a batsmen in cricket then they play strokes
according to the ball & they also have a technique to face the balls & ballers. These
factors defines the methodology.
Methodology is the theoretical & systematic way to complete the project & the
methodology of our project is completely depend on System Development Life Cycle
model stages & these stages are Requirement gathering, Planning & designing, Coding
& deployment.

SDLC Phases:-
These phases defines the BLANKEARN project:
i. Requirement Gathering
Requirement phase contains the requirements of BLANKEARN website in which
we need tutors for s specific area like a learner or student want to learn from a tutor
which is present in the area of the students, Video tutorials & seminars, material for
test series like question papers & technical team members to implement & maintain
the BALNKEARN project .
ii. Planning
Planning is the logical approach to implement the project & also the mapping phase
in which team members map the needs of the user to the problems.
iii. Implementing
Actual starting of project means coding phase in which coding team members code
the project and physical work starts from this phase. Code of the project will be
calculated in terms of LOC (Line of Code in KLOC). After coding of the project
testing will be done on each module of the code of the project. This phase completes
the BALNKEARN & fix the bugs and errors.
iv. Deployment
This is the last phase of the BLANKEARN project which completes the project
after completion of this phase BLANKEARN team receives the license for this.
This deliver the project to the users & clients.
Methodology of BLANKEARN completely depends on the above four phases. These
are the main activities of the project. These activities are:
 Project Selection according to the requirements
 Identifying project scope & objectives.
 Identifying project infrastructure.
 Analyse project characteristics.
 Identifying project approach
 Estimate effort for activities

Choosing technology is also the problem of methodology. Methodology includes
techniques like Object Oriented approach, event oriented approach, Structured
programming while technology includes the application building environment & tools.
Methodology is also depends on the choice of the process model like structure methods,
Rapid Application Development (RAD), Waterfall model, V – process model, Spiral
model & application building tools.

7. Technology:-
Technology plays the main role in this project, technology implements the project. This
the coding part of the project. Actual work of this project will be start from here.
BLANKEARN is the web application of eLearning website. MEAN Stack is the main
technology in this project means four parts comes in MEAN stack technology i.e,
MonogoDB database in server side, ExpressJS framework of JavaScript using in server
side, Node.js JavaScript framework also use in server side & Angular JavaScript
framework used in client side programming. MEAN Stack is the latest technology for
web applications. Websites have two parts client side & server side for both sides
different different scripting language & frameworks are used. Client side means the
intraction of the user, user wants more interactive pages, less load time for example, a
user wants to load an image and click on the image & technology or scripting language
is not powerful than that image take more time to loading & user can frustrate but a
powerful technology in client side can avoid that frustration like that image can load in
one time but if that image can load some part then another small part, then next small
part after some time the complete image user can see. Means all interaction of website
can depend on technology. HTML & CSS are the basics of client side programming.
HTML is the markup language which use tags & CSS is used to style the text or data
of HTML part they are the basics of the web. Angular Java Script framework is also
used for client side programming. Angular JS use for making web apps. Server is also
need to process the user client data & a database is need to maintain the user data. So,
server side programming is required to implete the server side in web apps. In MEAN
stack MongoDb, Express.js & Node.js are the JavaScript frameworks used to provide
the dynamic web pages means implements the server side. MongoDB is the database
which stores & maintain the user data in the form of tables. Two parts are like that:

BLANKEARN like first learn then teach through this platform. Means extra
opportunity provided by BLANKEARN that first learn & then earn. This is the main
advantage of BLANKEARN. This is the web app which you can access anywhere
anytime with less internet speed, you can download the documents & videos for long
time & you can save your work & continue when you want. You can also track your
progress. Assignments & quizzes are the main part of BLANKEARN because we think
practice is the main key of the success. Batches of 40-50 students starts in every week
so, you can start your batch by registering you for a particular time period & if you
cannot complete that then you have another two chances are left & these chances are
adjust you to another batch. If you cannot want to continue your progress then you can
save your progress & then continue when you want, this is another disadvantage of
BLANKEARN. You can ask your queries anytime to experts & also you can discuss
