Military Dog Handlers are obstacle foot soldiers, they go through obstacles that slow
down enemy advances, and find enemy obstacles that form a path for our allied
advances. Military Dog handlers deal with a lot of explosives and dangerous tools so
the requirements or all important. As a Military Dog Handler it is required from every
man or woman that serves to have motivation, respect, and to maintain focus,
especially under pressure. It’s highly important to have the motivation because then you
do effective work, providing ineffective work can cause mistakes and those mistakes
can cost the lives of others. Having a high level of respect can go a long ways, having
respect for everyone that you work with creates a better work environment. If you
maintain a great work environment the more effective and easier the job is. Finally
staying focus is a precious requirement. It’s one thing to be focus in a quiet and simple
environment, but working under pressure in an intense surrounding is where problems
are created or are increased then what they should be. Just like motivation, being focus
can and will determine the lives of others and your own.

I am qualified for this jobs on all levels. I am easily a natural born leader and can lead a
group and earn their respect as I show them the same respect. It is easy for me to get
to know my men and women and to work out differences and deal with problems if they
were presented. I am passionate about my work and I plan to take my job seriously for I
care about my men and their safety. I function a lot better in highly intense situations,
and can make quick decisions that can save the lives of others in this case.
