I am applying for a seasonal Cal Fire position in your company. After hearing
and reading about this job from others and at the Fire Station I was thrilled to see that I
most definitely meet all these physical and academic requirements. This was a door
opener for me to pursue a career down this path.

I would also like to add that I am not only attracted to the high salary and
amazing working conditions, but I am truly here to help people affected by fires and to
control the area in the most effective and efficient way and keep others safe.

For the last year and a half I have been dedicated to building my fitness and
overall stamina to really perform to by best ability when I have to. This has included
and intense gym routine and eating right to get the best results. I have also been
obtaining the highest grades I can in high school as this past year I have had a 4.0
throughout the whole year. Also one more thing to add is that I have been thoroughly
reading all Cal Fire Qualifications and making an effort to talk to other firefighters to gain
knowledge about this career.

I seek to reach goals for this company and set records for this company state
wide. I would plan to make Cal Fire more effective than it already is as it is the best
Firefighting company in the world. Currently I am starting my EMT and Fire 30 program
so I would be able to become a leader for others that would then pursue this career.

I strongly believe that I meet all of the qualifications that you require and I would
push to strive for you.
