ADMISSION LETTER: BSC COMPUTING-WITH-ACCOUNTING

1. I write on behalf of the Academic Board of the University for Development Studies to offer you admission to pursue a 4-Year
Bachelor of Science ( Computing-with-accounting) programme
2. Your University Identification Number (UIN) is 18001775. You are required to always use this UIN for payment of fees and any
official communication with the University
3. Your admission is for the 2018/2019 Academic Year only. You forfeit it if you fail to enroll this academic year
4. Your admission is on the basis of the results/certificates you presented. These credentials will be verified later, and you will be
withrawn and possibly prosecuted, if they are found to be fake
5. You will be a non-resident student at the Navrongo Campus, but you will be affiliated to a Hall. You are therefore advised to
look for accommodation within the Navrongo Township. Please, you may consult the SRC representatives on your campus for
assistance with decent housing, when you report on your campus
6. The University does not give direct financial assistance to students. However, students may visit the Students Loan Trust Fund
(SLTF) office to access a loan
7. You will be required to pay a provisional fee of GHS 1,699.00, which is subject to review, for the 2018/2019 Academic Year.
The total fee consists of
Academic Facility User Fee (AFUF) - GHS 1,351.00
other charges, including SRC dues - GHS 348
This amount should be paid at any Ghana Commercial Bank(GCB), Agricultural Development Bank(ADB), Ecobank,
Zenith Bank, Stanbic Bank and Prudential Bank branch in the country. Otherwise, click here to pay online or via mobile
money
8. Full payment of the fees must be received on or before Monday, August 20, 2018 for your admission to remain valid
9. Please, note that, fees paid are neither refundable nor transferable
10. The University will revise its fees from time to time in consultation with the various stakeholders
11. You are to register at the Navrongo Campus during the re-opening of the 2018/2019 Academic Year
12. A medical examination will be done on you to determine your fitness for the programme when you report
13. Please, note that, no change of name will be accepted during/after your study in this University
14. All fresh students will be matriculated soon after the University re-opens. You should take note of this date. You should note
carefully that your admission will be withdrawn if you fail to take part in the matriculation. No excuse will be accepted if any
student fails to comply with this advice/directive
15. The University will re-open on Monday, September 3, 2018 for the 2018/2019 Academic Year. You are advised to report on the
re-opening date for registration at your campus
