Lyssé New York Welcomes Creative Director Claudia Marenco

Lyssé New York recently welcomed Creative Director Claudia Marenco, of New York City, to the
Lyssé team. Marenco, who holds more than 25 years of international, senior-level design
experience, leads the design, development and evolution of Lyssé clothing collections.

New York, NY, May 15, 2019 --(PR.com)-- During her career she's served as an executive-level
designer for Rachel Roy, Ports 1961, Saltaire, Banana Republic, Kenneth Cole, Tahari, Trussardi and
Max Mara. She's also worked as a design consultant for Multiplica, a nonprofit where she created and
launched a new accessory and lifestyle-ethical brand in collaboration with Guatemalan artisans; and
Human Habit, where she crafted and launched a new ecommerce, contemporary unisex brand based on
wearable artwork.

“We are very excited to welcome Claudia to our Lyssé family,” said President Jill Kaat-Kandel. “Not
only does she have a clear vision of the company's direction and growth objectives, she is a tremendous
team player and an absolute delight to work beside.”

“I came to Lyssé because the team members are very supportive and knowledgeable, and I was really
excited about the idea of transforming the brand into one that blends urban-inspired design with the
comfort and flattering lines of athletic fashion,” said Marenco. “I love to come up with concepts and ideas
and then see those products worn by real people on the street. I'm not a big fan of celebrity fashion; rather
I love to design clothing that brings confidence and comfort to women.”

Marenco, who joined Lyssé in October 2018, will debut her first Lyssé collection this fall. Lyssé's fall
2019 collection will depict a casual feel with a refined look, according to Marenco. “Inspired by the warm
landscapes and traditions of the American Southwest, the fall 2019 collection plays sunset, desert and
prairie tones against sleek, urban style,” she added.

A design professional focused on learning and sharing, Marenco has served as a faculty member at
Parsons The New School for Design, in New York City, since 2014. Ever on the hunt for new fabrics and
methods for bringing innovation to her work, she admits to being a lifelong learner. “I'm very connected
to the Parsons community, and in addition to teaching there, I am always taking courses and workshops,”
she said.

Marenco holds a degree certificate from L.Einaudi Commercial Polytechnic Institute for Surveyors, and a
bachelor's of fine arts degree, in fashion design, from Piedmonte Region Vocational Training Centre.
Both are located in Alba, Italy.
