Multiculturalism

Multiculturalism is a term that describes the existence of many cultures in a region, city or country,
with at least one predominant.

The advantages and disadvantages of a multicultural society 

Living in a multicultural society with people with different traditions and perspectives gets people
to communicate with each other so that they share ideas and perspectives so that everyone learns
a new way of seeing the world or even a small thing or situation

People are together and cooperate for the development of communication, respect and tolerance
between different cultures is promoted.

A multicultural society also makes people less racist and leads to a society without discrimination,
having a more peaceful environment.

As we can see, all these are advantages of a multicultural society; however, there are still
disadvantages to living in a multicultural society because sometimes people may think that this can
lead to the destruction of the definition of each culture, and people think they are losing their
identity.

We have to learn to let go of our differences and accept ourselves for who we are. If there were no
such ethnic and cultural difference in our society, life would not be as interesting as it is.
Multiculturalism

Multiculturalismo, ou pluralismo cultural, é um termo que descreve a existência de muitas culturas

numa região, cidade ou país, com no mínimo uma predominante.

As vantagens e desvantagens de uma sociedade multicultural 

Viver numa sociedade multicultural com pessoas com diferentes tradições e perspectivas faz com
que as pessoas se comuniquem umas com as outras o que faz com que elas compartilhem ideias e
perspectivas, para que todos aprendam uma nova maneira de ver o mundo ou até mesmo uma
pequena coisa ou situação

As pessoas estão juntas e cooperam para o desenvolvimento da comunicação, é promovido o

respeito e a tolerância entre diferentes culturas.

Uma sociedade multicultural também torna as pessoas menos racistas e leva a uma sociedade sem
discriminação, tendo um ambiente mais pacífico.

Como podemos ver, todas essas são vantagens de uma sociedade multicultural; no entanto, ainda
há desvantagens em viver numa sociedade multicultural, porque às vezes as pessoas podem
pensar que isso pode levar à destruição da definição de cada cultura, e as pessoas pensam que
estão a perder a sua identidade.

Temos que aprender a deixar de lado nossas diferenças e nos aceitar pelo que somos. Se não
houvesse essa diferença étnica e cultural em nossa sociedade, a vida não seria tão interessante
quanto é.
