is medically unfit to undergo such training or (2) he/she is a member of N.C.C. or (3) he/she has been regularly taking part as a member of the college team

CANDIDATE IS REQUESTED TO READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE FILLING THE
EXAMINATION FORM :

I. As per Rules of A.T.K.T. (Circular No. 240/1992 Ref. No. CB/1047, dated 14-9-1992)

(a) Candidate who have backlog of TWO Papers only of First Year can appear for Second Year Examination.

(b) Candidate who have backlog of TWO Papers of Second Year can appear for Third Year Examination.

(c) While appearing Third Year Examination Candidate should have passed all papers of First Year Examination i.e. backlog of
First Year Examination are not allowed while appearing Third Year Examination.

II. (a) Candidate must select the subject/s which he had studied at F.Y.B.A. while appearing S.Y.B.A.

(b) Candidate must select the subject/s which he had studied at S.Y.B.A. while appearing T.Y.B.A.

(c) Candidate is requested to confirm that he has ( 9 ) ticked against those subjects for which he desire to appear and are
according to the latest Structure and Syllabus of the examination.

III. The student joining the First Year B.A. Course shall offer SIX subjects as follows :—

(i) The student can offer not more than one subject from one Group.

(ii) Subject in Group “A” is compulsory.

(iii) The student has to offer at least one language from Group “B” or Group “C”.

(iv) The student may offer one more language from Group “B” or Group “C” subject to (i) above.

(v) The Student may offer Optional English* from Group "J" alone or in combination with one language from either Group "B"OR group
"C", he shall not offer under any circumstances more than two language from Group "B", C.

IV. In the Second Year, the student shall decide whether he wants to study for the B.A. (General) or the B.A. (Special) Degree :

(a) (i) The student studying for the B.A. (General ) Degree shall study the following subjects in the Second Year :

(2 – 6) Same five subjects offered in the First Year B.A.

(ii) The student studying for the B.A. (General ) Degree shall study the following subjects in the Third Year :
(1) Compulsory English.
(2 – 6) Same five subjects offered in the First and Second Year B.A.
(b) (i) The student studying for the B.A. (Special ) Degree shall study the following subjects in the Second Year :
(1) Compulsory English.
(2 – 4) One paper each at General level of the three subjects chosen out of the five subjects offered in the First
Year B.A.
(5 – 6) Two papers at Special level of one subject chosen as a Special Subject out of the three subjects offered
at General level.

(ii) The student studying for the B.A. (Special ) Degree shall study the following subjects in the Third Year :
(1) Compulsory English.
(2 – 4) One paper each at General level of the three subjects offered in the Second Year B.A.
(5 – 6) Two papers at the Special level of the subject chosen as a Special Subject in the Second Year B.A.

V. Students are not allowed to change the subject at the Second or Third Year once they have offered them at the First Year. However,
as a very special case, a student may be allowed to offer a special subject at the Second Year, even though he may not have offered
the same at the first year. In such case he should have passed his first year examination in all the papers and he will have to complete
the first year paper in that new subject at the Second Year (only April examination) before he appear to the Third Year. No change of
subject will be allowed at the Third Year.

VI. The students who passed any subject with 40 or more marks or with the benifit of ordinance 0.4 are not allowed to appear for
the same subject again.

VII. Students are allowed to appear for the additional subject at F.Y.B.A. after passing F.Y.B.A. Examination if he had selected that subject
as on special level.

VIII. Candidate who wants to change the Faculty and the course from F.Y.B.Sc. to F.Y.B.A. OR from F.Y.B.Com. to F.Y.B.A. he should
have appear and pass all the subjects/papers prescribed for F.Y.B.A. Course.
