New DP200 and DP210 Fuel Injection Pump Spring November 2006

This service bulletin applies to all industrial engines, except gensets and IOPU engines, that have the Delphi
DP200 and DP210 fuel injection pumps installed.

As part of the ongoing Delphi product improvement programme on the DP200 and DP210 fuel injection
pumps, a stronger governor linkage hook spring (GLHS) has been developed to increase the force available
to open the metering valve.
The introduction of the new GLHS, is highly beneficial to engines with an "idle speed stall out ", where the fuel
is of doubtful quality and if the diesel fuel (DERV) is not to EN590 specification.
The new GLHS was introduced on May 2006 built fuel injection pumps, with date code EZG, for all affected
engine types, using DP200 and DP210 fuel injection pumps.
Engines in service, installed with the fuel injection pumps, prior to the change EZG, can be modified by
installing a new GLHS at the Delphi dealer, using the Delphi Technical Bulletin DT414 (EN) dated August 2006.
The mod box on the fuel injection pump will be stamped Z02, to indicate the latest GLHS has been installed.
This modification will be on a chargeable basis and is not covered under Perkins warranty conditions.
