to celebrate: publicly acknowledge (a significant or happy day or event) with a social gathering
or enjoyable activity.
candles and torches: a cylinder or block of wax or tallow with a central wick that is lit to produce
light as it burns.
birthday cake gift: an item of soft, sweet food made from a mixture of flour, shortening, eggs,
sugar, and other ingredients, baked and often decorated.
