Instructions

Students are to prepare an oral report discussing any of the assigned topics above. The oral
presentation/report shall be limited to 12 minutes, and reporting each student shall prepare a
single slide or an infographic, containing all relevant information about the assigned topic.

Each topic discussed will focus on the fundamentals of measurement done in each set up, why
each metric or measurement is relevant, and how these information or metrics are used. Also of
relevance is how each measurement is processed and communicated to the end user.

In contrast to traditional mechanical measurement, recent and cutting edge methods may be
discussed.
