First and foremost, let's talk about the weather. This is
normally a pretty dry subject, but here in the South we
like to keep it interesting - a description which here
loosely translates to 'it could rain at any moment'. With
that in mind, tip number one is to always, always bring
an umbrella.
Additionally, depending on the season, we can exper-
ience a variety of different temperatures throughout the
day. If you are visiting during a time of year when the
seasons are transitioning, dress in layers. The day can
start out in the 30s, shift abruptly to sunny and 75, and
bottom out in the low 50s. Pack a jacket and a light
sweater to make sure you stay comfortable throughout
the day, even if you're staying inside.
Speaking of attire, you're probably wondering what you
should wear to your interview. Our culture is very start-
up chic, so you can keep it casual with a nice pair of

pants and a button down or blouse. If a blazer, suit
jacket, sport coat, dress, skirt, or any arrangement of
these is more your style, that's fine, too - just ditch the
tie or the tights and you'll feel more at home.
Now that we've covered the basics, we can delve into
more specific suggestions related to both our culture
and that of the area. We will cover transportation,
hotels, restaurants, nightlife, and what to do in the
event of a zombie apocalypse (The Walking Dead is
filmed here, no need for alarm.)

There are several perks to working onsite at Honeywell:
the catered lunches, the collaborative environment, the
variety of conference rooms, the catered lunches, the
adjustable standing desks, the free parking...and did we
mention the catered lunches? That alone should have
you sprinting into our open arms, but just in case it
doesn't, listed below are some other enticing amenities
we offer.
HONEYWELL AMENITIES
IT Solution Center: Staffed with full-time IT experts, this
is the place to go for all of your troubleshooting needs. If
you run into any technical issues, these tech gurus will
help you get your groove back.
Event Center: This is, most notably, where we eat the
aforementioned catered lunches. It is also used to host
large scale events (in the past we have hosted Women
in Technology, LGBTQ networking events, Hackathons,
and more).
Pantry Areas: Each floor is equipped with snacks,
beverages, and state-of-the-art coffee machines.
Gaming Areas: Equipped with ping-pong, billiards,
foosball, board games, and an X-Box room.
Mother's / Wellness Room: These rooms offer quiet,
private spaces with sinks, refrigerators, and comfort-
able seating.
Parking Garage: Honeywell covers the cost of
employee parking. Connected to the building, the
garage offers electric car charging stations as well as
bicycle storage.
BUILDING AMENITIES
Bicycle Storage Room: Located on the lower
level of the building, the storage room includes
secure storage racks that are accessible by
employees only. Outdoor bicycle racks are also
offered.
Stone Summit Climbing Gym: Offers discoun-
ted memberships to Honeywell employees.
Equipped with a rock climbing wall and modest
fitness center.
Bare Burger: Restaurant serving all-natural
burgers, snack, and shakes located at the front of
the building.
Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee Shop: Trendy
cafe serving coffee drinks, craft beer, and wine.
Spaces: Collaborative workspace that offers the
opportunity to network with other businesses in the
community.

EMPLOYEE NETWORKS
Honeywell Women's Network (HWN): HWN's goal is
to attract and retain women by offering access to
profess-ional development resources, sponsoring and
hiring events, community outreach, building internal

social outlets for members.
Black Employee Network (HBEN): HBEN serves as
an internal support system for black employees at
Honeywell. It is a program set up to benefit not only its
own members; but also to educate and support the
com-munity as well as the entire Honeywell
organization.
LGBTQ Network: Focuses on creating an inclusive env-
ironment for LGBTQ employees, empowering them to
bring their authentic selves to work. This includes ment-
oring and developing LGBTQ talent to build succession
in leadership and leveraging their unique viewpoints to
build customer-focused solutions.
THIRSTY THURSDAY
Every Thursday, Honeywell caters in food from local
restaurants and provides libations for the staff. This
allows us to interact with different groups that we may
not often work with. This also serves as an opportunity
to invite potential candidates to network with members
of the team in a relaxed setting.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH
Giving back is a huge part of Honeywell's culture. We
have partnered with several local organizations, inc-
luding Women in Technology (WIT), Girls Who Code,
Black Girls Code, Sandbox ATL, Lesbians Who Tech,
Metro Atlanta Association of Professionals (MAPP), and
more. We also partner with local schools and colleges
to sponsor student scholarships, and we provide a
robust internship program.
GREEN MACHINE
Our sustainability program focuses on centralized recy-
cling, waste reduction, and energy efficiency. In prac-
tice, this involves re-usable coffee mugs and water
glasses stocked in every pantry area, motion detecting
light sources, and recycling receptacles in every work
space, including battery recycling!
INCLUSION
Part of being an inclusive employer is embracing the
cultures and traditions of all employees. One way
Honeywell succeeds at this is through the celebration
of various significant cultural events throughout the
year. We have celebrated Diwali (for which we hired
henna tattoo artists) and the Lunar New Year (where
traditional Chinese dancers performed for the staff),
and during black history month, we invited Carl McNair
(brother of Ron McNair) to speak about African Ameri-
can influence in aerospace.

AIRPORT NAVIGATION MARTA: Atlanta's public transit system with bus

and train options. The Airport Station is located

passengers from their gate to baggage claim and
vise versa. Depending on how far your gate is, this
can be a five to fifteen minute ride.

TRANSPORTATION
Car Rental: If you will be renting a car for the
duration of your stay, there is a sky train from
the airport that will take you to the rental car
center.

Ride Share: There is an area for rideshare

pick-up right outside of baggage claim.
Midtown (where our office is located) is roughly
a thirty minute drive from the airport.

here? Fret not! There are several classy and convenient
