VeriFire Tools 10.00 Release Notes

VeriFire Tools version 10.00 is the next generation programming and test utility the NFS-3030, NFS2-3030, NFS-640,
NFS2-640, NFS-320, UDACT-2, NCA, NCA-2, NCD, LCD2-80 in ACS mode, DVC-RPU, DVC and associated DAA,
DAA2 and DAX amplifiers and DS-DB. Version 10.0 has a security feature which requires the user (technician,
programmer, etc) to have an active license to perform online functions; such as upload/download. Unlicensed users will
have access to all offline functions; such as editing device labels or running reports.

Version 10.00 supports the following Operating Systems/Platforms:

• Windows 7 Professional/Ultimate 32 and 64 bit editions
• Windows 8 & 8.1 Professional/Enterprise 32 and 64 bit editions
• Windows 10 Professional/Enterprise 32 and 64 bit editions
• Window Surface Pro 3 and Pro 4 tablets

When upgrading the Windows® Operating System (OS) of computers with software programs such as VeriFire Tools
installed, Microsoft and NOTIFIER recommends uninstalling the programs prior to upgrading the OS, and then reinstall
the programs after the upgrade has been successfully performed. This practice will help ensure the correct USB driver
files are installed and available for use with applicable hardware and that the application performs reliably.

NOTES:
The user must select the appropriate Panel Database Version when creating a new database. Use the ‘Panel’s
Database Version’ drop down box to select the correct version.

VeriFire Tools 10.00 provides the following new features and fixes:

VeriFire Tools 10.00 is not compatible with NCS and should not be installed on NCS or used to program any
ONYX series panels that reside on NOTI-FIRE-NET with an NCS. The latest version of NCS is version 5.9 which
supports VeriFire Tools version 5.5.
