Statement
My artwork is about how graffiti is in our community. The title of my
artwork is “graffiti”. My artwork is consisted of different types of
graffiti and how people express themselves by tagging walls and
buildings.people that like to also do bad things but not all of them
are bad sometimes they can also be about problems a community
is facing. I created my art by using a camera to take pictures of
different types of graffiti.I went to river beds and to buildings that
were tagged and full of graffiti.I also used tile of thirds and golden
ratio to take pictures and make them look interesting. I went around
my school campus to take pictures of what people tag on restroom
and classroom walls.I feel like my artwork is unique because not a
lot of people think about these types of things in our community. My
goals for this artwork were to make people more aware of this.That
its not only illegal but it is also a work of art. I also wanted people to
think about graffiti as a artwork. Another goal i have is to make
people like my artwork. My overall thoughts about this piece was to
learn how to take pictures of other peoples artwork and making it
mine i also wanted to go out places and get the experience of going
out to shoot photographs.

 Biography
The photographers names Isaac Vega. Isaac was born in Huntington
Park on August 1, 2003.The thing that interests him in photography is
how he can capture a moment in history and how you can do
whatever you want with it. Isaac chose his topic about graffiti. Isaac
chose this topic because it is a a topic that is not really looked on by
our community. It is a problem but it is also a form of art. In this
community there is a lot of graffiti artists and they express themselves
by tagging walls and buildings.
