English Language and Academic Skills Workshops
Each semester the Academic Skills Centre runs a variety of 45-minute workshops that you can attend
on-campus or online. Some of the topics for this semester include:

 Writing better sentences  Oral Presentations


 Starting Assignments  Academic Style
 Reading & Note-Taking  Referencing
 Delivering Presentations  Paraphrasing
 Exam Preparation  Writing Essays

Assignment Drop-In Sessions


Drop-in sessions provide students in all schools with the opportunity to receive direct assistance from
a Learning Adviser to unpack and understand assigned readings, assessments and other learning tasks.
Just ‘drop-in’ to any of the following sessions:
