Sub.: Application for a Job Seek Visa to Germany

I……… from Kerala, holding a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Communication
Engineering from Cochin University of Science and Technology would like to put my intent of
motivation for jobseeker visa. Having developed essential skills during my four years of education,
I started working with iBand Technologies, Kerala as Java and Android developer in May 2015. I
am exposed to HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, Hibernate, Android etc over the past two years
which I find very essential for the development as a skilled professional which in turn help me
find suitable positions in Germany. Further to that I have developed several android apps in
varied business models and are experiencing rave feedback. My desire to work with the latest
technologies and advancements is one of the main reasons I want to choose Germany –The Land
of Ideas and Innovation. During the past few months, I was working on finding job opportunities
in Germany and got information about how it should be done and what steps are to be followed
for finding the same. In this search, the official websites of BundesministeriumfürArbeit und
Soziales, was very much useful. It is clearly mentioned the shortage professions in Germany, how
to approach the companies and Job providers, Jobseeker visa options for qualified professionals,
living in Germany etc. I have already started applying for jobs and some of the applications are
being submitted along with my visa application documents. Many companies that I approached
are interested in hiring people who are already staying in Germany as they prefer seeing the
employee and having a person to person interview to make the final decision, which is one of the
main reason for me to apply for the jobseeker visa.
I also have an accommodation confirmed during my stay of 6 months in Munich. I am planning to
attend all possible recruiting events all over Germany. I want to make full use of the 6 months’
jobseeker opportunity, and guarantee that any failure in finding a job in Germany, I will be back
and continue my career in India. Thus, I kindly request the consulate General to provide me
jobseeker visa 6 months.
