ENGLISH V

I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of a fifty-minute class discussion, the pupils with at least seventy five percent
degree of proficiency should be able to:

a. classify sentences according to their uses;


b. construct declarative, interrogative, imperative and exclamatory sentences; and
c. show appreciation of the different kinds of sentences through communicating with other
people.

A. Motivation

B. Presentation

Alright! I have here a video clip entitled, “The


Lion and the Mouse.” Listen very carefully,
afterwards; I’ll ask questions related to our

C. Discussion

Galileo, The Scientist

Galileo was the different even as a boy. He

declarative, INS if it is interrogative, IMS if it is imperative and ES if it is exclamatory. Then
supply the correct punctuation mark at the end of each sentence.
