I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of a fifty-minute class discussion, the pupils with at least seventy five percent
degree of proficiency should be able to:
A. Motivation
What can you say about the mouse? The mouse is small.

B. Presentation

C. Discussion

requesting something.

Now, class let’s remember that sentences have (The pupils give examples of exclamatory
four functions. They can be declarative, sentences.)
interrogative, imperative and exclamatory. Can
you again tell me the difference of the four?
IV: EVALUATION
Directions: Read each sentence carefully and identify their function. Write DS if it is
declarative, INS if it is interrogative, IMS if it is imperative and ES if it is exclamatory. Then
supply the correct punctuation mark at the end of each sentence.
