Chapter 7: Page Number, Columns, & Change Case

This chapter will explain how to insert page numbers, columns and change case. To insert
columns in a document select from one to three columns. Changing the case of the text is easy
rather than typing the entire text just to change the. Lets us first discuss on how to insert page
numbers.

Lesson 1: Inserting Page Number


In this lesson we will insert page number
A. Insert Page Number
1. Click Insert  Page Numbers

2. Click on the “Position” to select
where to put your page number.
The options are to place it at the
bottom of page OR top of page.
3. Click “Alignment” and select the position were you want to position the numbers in your
document. The option are to place it on the Right, Left OR Center.
4. Click “ok” NOTE:

Format Page Number
1. Click Insert  Page Numbers 

Activity 1: The Mouse

Instructions:
1. Create two columns for the document.
2. Type the entire document using, Font Size = 12, Font Style = Verdana and font
Color = Blue
3. Use Justified Alignment
4. Use Word Art for word title. Select the same kind of WordArt as it appears in the
paper.
5. Insert a mouse picture in the second column by using clipart gallery.
6. First letter in the 1st paragraph must be in dropped cap and it drops 3 lines.
7. Set Page Margins to 1 inch on all sides.
8. Set Paper to 8.5 in width and 5.5 in Height.
9. Save your work in you folder having the file name “Mouse-your family name
