Do Organized Crimes

Yes gangs do have very negative components but there are mental positives
such as a feeling of belonging, knowledge, and encouragement. According
to the website nc.gov on the topic of gangs they state “gangs emerged as a
means of protecting the community and their unique ethnic identity and
status.”

like companionship, knowledge,

Gangs were created to provide protection from police brutality

and racist groups but became corrupt when some realized they
could take advantage of the power over the community they had.
According to publicsafety.gc.ca states some positive youth
factors and they listed “resilient temperament, good social skills,
positive coping skills, good decision-making skills, sense of
self-efficacy, high self-esteem, positive values and attitudes”
Gangs can do positive things for

We all know gangs are involved in all kinds of illegal activities. But
could turn around and do great things for their communities.
According to web.stanford.edu they state “In the past
communities have joined forces with police in an expression of
intolerance against drugs. This same attitude is now held for
gangs.”
SLE 1. For my SLE I interviewed a gang member,
also researched his good deeds in the
community and created a survey.
2. I chose this because it was the direct input
of a positive gang member.
3. I didn’t really help anyone due to the fact
that I couldn’t find anyways to help that
matched my presentation.
4. I learned that it’s not for the benefit of
other gang members but for the future of
all children of the black race.

Summary

Like I Stated Earlier, the positivity that gangs provide for

some people they can’t realize are companionship,
knowledge, and encouragement. But if you take anything
from this presentation it should be that you should never
just think someone is a bad person based on what they do
because there is always a reason.
