The question everyone is asking is, How will gmos affect humans in the future?
We really don't know how to answer this question. Gmos have not been around long
enough to tell if they really affected us in the long run. The problem with gmo food is
this it is genetically modified and not organic food. Most scientist think that theses
foods are an issue and are going to affect you. We are going to tell you that there is no
evidence or proof but we believe that gmos are not good for you and will affect your
health in the future. As stated here “There are many purported downsides, but the
evidence varies, and the main health issues associated with GMO foods are hotly
debated. Research is ongoing.”(medical news today). There is no proof yet that gmos
will affected us in the long run people just aren't sure about if they are good for you or
bad for you. Soon enough we'll know if they affected us or not.
The science behind this issue is that gmos are genetically modified organisms.
So there basically genes being modified to be better organisms. The genes in
genetically modified organisms are enhanced to make them bigger and better. But that
doesn't always mean that they are good for you they are not organic. There are two
different views, ”Some say genetically modified organisms (GMO) are harmful, while
others say they’ll help us feed the growing billions of humans that populate our
planet.”(futurism).They don't have any studies yet because of how long they have been
around. People just don't know if they are healthy or not or if they should just eat
organic foods like before. The people are just scared of the new foods and how they will
Gmos aren't impacted society yet but people aren't sure people have no idea
what they are and what they are going to do in the future. The way people are thinking of
this is that they aren't organic so they are not good for our society. This is what people
think, “Most of us have a vague idea that organic is better because it’s more natural and
wasn't gmos right now most people would not be able to feed their families or
themselfs. There are also many other benefits of gmos like “GMOs are taking on food
waste. New potatoes that are genetically engineered to resist bruising during shipping
and handling are coming onto the market, and new apples that resist browning when
sliced will reduce food waste in the market and kitchen!”(The food dialogues).Gmos are
way cheaper than organic foods so people who can't afford can live off of them doesn't
mean they are good for you it just means that they benefit the lower class. They haven't
been proven that there bad for you most people just don't like them and want to stay all
organic. Therefore they don't have a impacted on society besides that they help feed the
lower class.
Scientists think that you should not use gmos because you don't know what
affected they are going to have on you. Many people in the U.S are fat we are
statistically the fattest country in the world. We also have statistically have the most
food the is gmo inhanesed. So basically we are gmo lovers that are fat. Most scientist
believe that gmos are really bad for you and you should not eat them. Some scientists
In conclusion people all around the world use gmos or have eaten or heard about
gmos before. They all wonder they same thing are they good for you well we really don't
know. All we know is that they might end up having a long term impacted on you if you
consume a lot of your life. There has been no scientific studies that have a clear answer
on this topic because the answer is complicated. Most scientist have no idea if they are
good or bad for you they just know the facts behind the issue. We are hoping that there
will soon be anwer but for now lay off the gmo food. You don't know the effected of
them in the future you don't know what they will do to your health. But what you really
