Over the past four years, I have helped out with Merced County 4-H as a camp counselor for
their summer camp. My experience in 4-H has taught me to work well with others in group
settings and taking the time to build curriculum for a summer camp I so deeply enjoy. If you ask
my former supervisors about my performance, they would mention my cooperativeness,
thoughtfulness, and compassion. For example, as a 4H counselor I was able to:

● Worked in groups of 3 with other counselors to help plan the camp experience.
● Planned and performed science and outdoor curriculum and activities to groups of 20
campers.
● Encouraged a positive camper experience through group bonding activities and
intramural sports.
