IV. Innovations

Every great teacher and every great school constantly work towards creating better learning
conditions for students. SFES hopes students become lifelong learners, as educators should
be constantly learning and improving.
Educational leaders—from teacher-leaders to principals brought people together around
ideas they care about. The school also refined their vision and created coherence. Teachers
started with a new instructional improvement initiative. The school leader made sure that his
subordinates work together through challenges and successes and measures progress and
adjusting along the way

SFES has three innovations in education. First is innovation for “structure”. In this aspect,
SFES has School to School Partnership Program wherein in this Program assistance was
given by the leader school (Padre Garcia Central School) where in this program new school
library organized. Second innovation for “content”, teachers and volunteers from the
community introduced new topics or revised old topics especially in reading. This innovation
was targeted to improve pupils’ reading comprehension and reduce number of slow and non
readers in school. In this innovation, the school had this Brigada Basa. For the last
innovation, it deals with the “process”. In this innovation, school principal Joey B. Andal gives
importance to good interpersonal relationship. In this area, the school had this Stress
Management Program where in this program it resolves interpersonal relationship among
teachers.
