Ⅶ. Trouble Shooting

No Power / No Sound
Short problem
1. Check AMP parts(FET 6EA, AMP IC 4EA, ACN1002)
- it can be occurred cause of soldering problem, IC damage or pattern damage.

Reset problem
1. Check Reset Port(#13 pin of UIC1, #40 pin of MIC1)
- They should be “low” for about 10ms after Power On

Ⅶ. Trouble Shooting

Power Protection
1. Cause
- Short problem
2. Check Point
1) Check the voltage level of PCN1 and ACN1002
2) Check whether it has “short point” or not using multi meter.

37
Ⅶ. Trouble Shooting

Fan Error
1. Symptom
- Display “FAN CHECK” Power Off (about 5 seconds later)

2. Check Point
1) Check whether fan connector is properly inserted or not NCN1 of MAIN PCB
2) Look around the fan (something is blocking the fan or not)
3) Check components of fan circuit (shorted, opened or broken)
3. Procedure
1) Micom would send a start message to FAN via “FAN_ON” signal line
2) Check the FAN_CHECK Port (Connection, Operating)
3) If the output(SPK_FL and SPK_FR) increase, FAN will work faster automatically (Voltage Check)

38
Ⅶ. Trouble Shooting

Can’t Play Disc

1. Cause
- Voltage drop(5V)
2. Check Point
- Measure the VCC port of AM5766 IC (#8/19/21 pin of MIC10)

39
Ⅶ. Trouble Shooting

Abnormal Play
1. Cause
- Voltage drop(3.3V/1.35V)
2. Check Point
- Measure the supplied VCC port of MPEG IC (MBD13, PBD6)

40
Ⅶ. Trouble Shooting

No Action & No Play

1. Cause
- MPEG-MICOM Communication Pattern Open or Short

2. Check Point
