Dear Hiring Management,

As a highly motivated and dedicated student / worker with strong communication and
interpersonal skills, I would like to apply for available entry-level positions.

Working as a caterer for La Carreta, gave me the opportunity to master customer service skills
and understand work ethic. As a student I have been extensively involved in my school
community, which has allowed me to develop strong interpersonal skills. My involvement in
various events include ASB leadership and FFA (Future Farmers of America). Within these
events I was able to visit, speak, and not to mention teach feeder school students about not only
being in leadership and having that creativity as well as communication to encourage others to
have a healthy school environment, but additionally teaching feeder school students about
agriculture. Within my job and school involvement I was able to master my ability to engage
with strangers and effectively enhance my communication skills.

These experiences have allowed me to develop strong time management and organization skills,
which I believe to be very important when seeking employment while continuing my studies.

Personal attributes that I believe make me suitable for this position include:
● Customer Service:​ ​Assisting customers while working at La Carreta has allowed me
to truly understand the need of a customer's preferences coming before anything and
keeping customers satisfied, as well as helping sell products and bringing encouragement
 too customers at school events has allowed me to develop my customer service skills
along with the experience as an expeditor.
● Communication:​ Working with the ASB leadership class allowed me to activity
communicate between student needs, student government and staff to create projects
where everyone is satisfied and creating the flow of a healthy campus environment. Not
to mention communication within my job, where it is important to communicate between
chefs and caterers to satisfy the customers.

● Adaptability:​ Working within the ASB leadership class and as a caterer has helped
me develop adaptability skills by requiring me to be prepared and ready, as well as on the
spot for any potential problems. Enabling me to adapt to a situation and respond in an
effective manner.

My teachers, educators, and co-workers have commended me for my willingness to participate

and my dedication to helping out where it is possible. I enjoy working with others and believe
that my strong set of communication skills will ensure that I can meet the expectations of this
role.

I believe that I have a lot to offer to your organization, as well as being keen to develop my
