Major responsibilities include:

PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN at HUB POWER STATION

1. Transfer of Boiler Soot Blower controls from PLC to DCS with ABB team: Ensured on-time completion of project with
quality and safety
2. Refurbishment of Forced Draft Fan outlet to Steam Air Heater inlet air duct: Ensured on-time completion of project
through coordination with other teams like Corrosion Protection team.
3. Replacement of Corroded Demin Water pipeline
4. Installation of On-Line Turbine Lube Oil Duplex Filter
5. Boiler Retrofit Tube Replacement Project
6. RFO Tank API 653 inspection and repair work project.
7. Condensate Polishing Plant Project (Lead Engineer) With GE (WBG)

MAINTENANCE AND SHUTDOWN/OUTAGE RESPONSIBILTIES:

 Planning and Maintenance of Plant General Shutdowns including pre-outage planning, execution, inspection and
post-outage documentation of maintenance activities as per settled schedule.
 Major Overhauling of Ansaldo TC2F 323 MW Steam Turbine in which inspection of turbine bearings, gland seals,
inter stage steam seals, turbine balancing, Alignment, Concentricity, overhauling of turbine control valves, turbine main
steam valves, combined intercept stop valves,

  Turbine Auxiliaries Overhauling & Maintenance mainly overhauling of Condensate Extraction Pumps, Boiler Feed
Water Main Pump & Hydraulic Coupling, Vacuum Pump, Mechanical seals, Lube Oil Pumps, Feed Water Heaters and
other Heat exchangers.
 RCA: Have a good experience of RCA, participated in RCA of business loss and safety incident of the plant. RCA
successfully increased plant safety and reliability.
 Improving and Maintaining Reliability of Plant Equipment’s through preventive maintenance, predictive
maintenance, corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, condition based monitoring (Micro log CMVA-65) and Root
Cause Failure Analyses and improving the preventive maintenance procedures and schedules for operational equipment.
 Major Overhauling of IHI Boiler (Capacity 1030 ton) and its Auxiliaries specifically overhauling of Force Draft
Fans, Gas Recirculation Fans, Gas Air Heater, Boiler Steam Drum and Safety Valves.
 Major Overhauling of Balance of Plant Systems which includes Sea Water Intake CW Submersible Pump, Fuel Oil
Tanks and turbine hall 15/60 ton over head crane.
 Major overhauling of Desalination Plants multi effect type (Capacity 1200 m 3/day) Different checks during
overhauling which are these: tube coating inspection, tubes inspection & replacement, main Ejector inspection,
Condenser inspection, valves complete overhauling.
 RFO Tank: Led as project Engineer of Tank sludge disposal, cleaning, Inspection and repair works as per API 653.
 Major Overhauling & Maintenance of Multistage Compressor Different checks during overhauling which are these
Bearing, float check, Gears measure& inspections, flow path measurements, cooler hydro-testing, compressor rotor
inspection(NDT), seals inspection, lubrication pumps inspection. etc
 Plant modification has a good experience of plant temporary & permanent modification Through Management of
Change (MOC)
 HAZOP Techniques: Participated in process safety analysis of different maintenance task.
 DuPont/ PSM Safety System: Have good experience of process safety management system and ensure plants
compliance with process safety standard
 Lead, manage and coordinate multi-discipline projects from initiation to close out according project handling
procedures and best practices.
 Plant Operation: Excellent knowledge about Steam turbine, Boiler and their auxiliaries operation.
 Excellent hand on experience with Maximo (Version 7.6) in procurement or inventory ordering system.

b) SUI SOUTHERN GAS COMPANY LIMITED May 2014 - August 2016

Worked as Junior Engineer at Sui Southern Gas Company Limited in Mechanical Maintenance Distribution department and
