Dear Mr. Wheeler

I am writing to express my interest in being an auto mechanic for your shop. I wish to
apply to the position of an auto mechanic because I have always had a passion for BMW as a
company. I am writing to enquire as to whether there are any vacancies toward the position I
have previously stated
I am currently studying in auto mechanics at Merced High and plan to continue my study
into college. At present I work for the school in my shop class where I am responsible for doing
a variety of different services. I have been working in my current position for just about 2 years.
I am currently enrolled in High School and plan on receiving my diploma somewhere
within these next few weeks. The natures of my study have really prepared me for a position
such as this one. As you can see from my CV I have worked and gained experience in the
workforce, and I am familiar on how a shop is to run. I currently speak English and can
understand Spanish but am not too fluent in the language.
I feel I am suitable for this role as I have great experience in a shop. I consider myself to
be friendly efficient, enthusiastic, and a hard worker. No job is too big, no task it too small, when
you need someone for the job I am the man you can depend on. I believe I would be the ideal
candidate for this job because of my passion in the BMW company, and because of my age and
my experience I feel like I have an advantage to grow with the company. I am very keen to work
with a company such as yours.
