Accreditation: IMO OPRC Model Courses

International Maritime Organization (IMO) OPRC Model Courses
The IMO has developed a range of training courses to address all aspects of oil spill planning, response
and management. These are known as the OPRC Model Courses. The IMO courses on oil pollution
preparedness and response have been developed for three levels of competency:
Operational staff (First Responder - Level 1);
Supervisors and on-scene commanders (Spill Management - Level 2); and
Senior management personnel (Senior Spill Management - Level 3).

RMD provides IMO Oil Pollution Preparedness, Response and Co-operation (OPRC) Model courses
since 2010 and have delivered over 60 IMO OPRC Model courses in
Indonesia.

RMD is accredited / certified by Directorate General of Sea Transportation

(Permenhub No 58 / 2013) to conduct the IMO OPRC Model courses in
Indonesia. The IMO OPRC Oil Spill Training certificates are endorsed by the
Directorate General of Sea Transportation (HubLa) and are recognized by
IMO

individuals for the delivery of the OPRC Model Courses.

Field Deployment Exercises

Exercising response capabilities is a fundamental component of oil
