Project Overview

Purpose:
To create a cloud-based SaaS Human Capital Management (HCM), also called Human Resource
Management Solution (HRMS) with two main modules:

The CURRENT HCM will consist of the following HR features:

• Employee Self Service – Leave Requests, Employee Information, View Payslips,

Reminders, Celebrations, Announcements.
• Centralized HR Data – Store employees master data, Document storage, Employee job
and salary history, Payroll history, Export as PDF, CSV, Electronic signature.
• Time Off/Leave Requests – Requesting and approving time off/leave requests,
Vacations, PTO, Sick Leave, Calendar, History, Time off reports.
 • Payroll – Run payroll, regular schedules, new schedules, payroll groups by employee or
department or city, Off-cycle payroll, Bonus payroll, Payroll reporting, Taxes, Reminders.
• Reports – Generate common reports (headcount, salary, departments), custom report
fields, Download in PDF or Excel format, Folders, Signatures, Time off reports,
Employee/Contractor reports.
• Company – Address, Configuration of pay schedule, Bank accounts, Taxes: federal or
state, Quick stats, Configure Vendors/Contractors with ability to pay them.
• Documents – Add folders, files, digital signatures, sorting, delete, share, email, rename,
offer letters, documents like direct deposit authorization, common docs send to new
employees as onboarding packet.
• Settings – Set admin roles, add/remove admins, Software integrations such as
Quickbooks, plan & billing, Invoices, History, Upgrade plan.
• Help – Send message to customer support by category and description, help center, FAQ
section, contact hours, email, phone number.
