NUMBER OF STUDENTS: 22
DESCRIPTION OF THE CLASS: The group consists of 20 boys and 2 girls. The students are between 14-16 years old. The lesson takes
place on Fridays from 7:45 a.m to 9:55 a.m.

ASSUMED LANGUAGE: Present Simple (positive, negative and interrogative forms), routine activities, places in town and expressions of

AIM OF THE LESSON: at the end of the lesson the students will be able to talk about dates.
ANTICIPATED PROBLEMS:
1. Students may not remember how to make affirmative, negative and interrogative sentences with Present Simple.
2. Sutudents may not bring their books.
POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS:
As students are rebellious, noisy and reluctant to obey rules, I would like to start every lesson working with classroom rules.
The teacher together with the students will read the 12 rules aloud. Students will have to look for the short photocopy the teacher gave them the
previous class if they do not remember all the rules.
Since most of the students like rap, trap and pop music, the teacher will invite them to read the rules while listening to a trap song. Students will
be invited to make the rules rhyme so that they will learn them in the form of a song.
