Has one ever wondered what reality r eally i s? There is no actual definition to the word ‘reality’, but because it has many different outlooks, some come to a standstill on how to come across such challenges of distinction between reality and what one perceives to be real. When it comes to reality, one has to face between what occurs to be an emotion, or what seems to be a misperception of reality.
One may come across the decision that when realized, reality just might be an emotion containing their thoughts. According to source four, Plato’s Metaphysics in a Nutshell, “For Plato it is the world of the Forms (the realm of being) that is ‘really real’ world; the world that we perceive with our senses (the realm of becoming) is little more than an imitation of this ultimate reality.” Plato explains that the world of reality is perceived with one’s senses. For example, one particular imperfection can cause your emotions to lead to what your mind thinks of how reality is distinguished. This shows that through one’s emotions, reality is perceived to be the truth. Yet, these perceptions are not all of what reality is made to be.
While not only has reality been distincted through emotions, but has also been a distinction by misperception, which is an incorrect interpretation of what one may perceive. Source three, Between Reality and Illusion B y Kentaro Ichihara states, “Through projected images, illusion permeates into and is mingled with reality, blurring any potential borders between them.” Ichihara describes an appearance that is pervaded into what reality really is, even though reality and illusions are defined in the source to be two complete opposites. This implies how an illusion or appearance can interfere with reality by involving one’s perception of a “true” representation in real life situations. A word could have such different interpretations to one’s diction.
To some, reality has no purpose to one's life situations . It is depicted by different people that reality is nothing but an illusion. According to source one by Albert Einstein, “Reality is merely an illusion, although a very persistent one.” Einstein explains that even though reality is just an illusion to him, it is a very precise illusion that makes a topic seem like reality.
Reality has many connotations, such as what occurs to be an emotion and what might appear to be a misperception. Reality is surely not an illusion, and does occur on a daily basis in this world. The true meaning of reality is what one already believes in, based on material facts.
