Talking about cloning in these times deserves to extend us in a series of failed events, the
human being has always had the sensation and the greatness of expanding its network of
science and evolution in terms of reproduction. This is this is a contribution taken from the
magazine "semana".

Martha Gómez, a Colombian scientist who spent more than 20 years abroad, is one of the
leaders of an investigation in which several wild cats were cloned in an effort to avoid their
disappearance because they are endangered species. The first cloning of one of these
animals was done in 2003 with an African wild cat. It was such a success, that at the time it
was considered one of the biggest advances in the world in this matter.

Many advances have emerged, but we are not only talking about the cloning of bodies, but
a series of parts that make up the same body, as they are, the voice.

Animals are now the fixed point of science, considering that their organs can now be used
to transplant them to humans, this is undoubtedly something big for most humans who do
not have a normal state of functioning

Article taken from the newspaper “PAIS”

“The market possibilities are at the moment somewhat candid. Parents can clone their voice
in their children's toys, at least when they go to work or travel; a blind person can receive
his text messages with the clone voice of his friends, and the emerging (or re-emerging)
sector of the audiobook, where Spanish will shine along with English, will be enriched with
the voices of wonderful actors, even if they have disappeared, like Laurence Olivier or
Fernando Fernán Gómez. But things are likely to become more powerful and complex
soon”.
