Mental Status Examination

At the time of the interview client is wearing a shirt and jogging pants.He was sweating and he is

in panic .He wore a ponytail during the interview . during the interview the client was very

distracted with his phone that he keeps on checking it.The client also said that he is too stressed

because he still has an exam to take and he needs to study .The clients was not listening to the

examiner during the interview because of this the examiner had a hard time facilitating the test..

Client was very impatient that he complains that the items are too many

Client was also uncooperative. he was using phone that the examiner still needs to repeat the

question for him to understand clearly.The client was impatient that he wants to finish the test

immediately. Because of this the examiner had a hard time facilitating the exam. There were a lot

Of distractions and noises that prevented the successful facilitation of the test.The client was

easily distracted by the environment and by his phone. The client thinks that he knows better

than the examiner


When performing basic mathematical operations the

client find it hard to perfom them. He was very anxious about his answers

That he still needed to check if his answers were right

When the examiner asked him what brings him to the interview ,he responded to the examiner

that he is at school because he is studying.

He did not tell the examiner that he has a problem .He is having a hard time understanding

English that the examiner needs to explain it further. Also client does not feel interested about

taking the exam. Some of the client answers are not congruent with the questions.
