workers and their respective
superior.
 Toolbox Talks
A Toolbox Talk is an informal
group discussion that
focuses on a particular safety
issue. These tools can be
used daily to promote your
company's safety culture.
Toolbox talks are also
intended to facilitate health
and safety discussions on the
job site.
Toolbox Meeting:
Should not be more than 15-30 minutes
Participated by supervisor and workforce

Covers:
1. Work for the day - commitments
2. Hazards (SAFETY/HEALTH) associated
with the job
3. Control measures implemented
4. Other job related issues

When the TOOL BOX
MEETING conducted?
 Before starting the work, every
morning,
all workers should attend a morning
safety meeting in which a work Site
Manager/Safety Officer provides
various instructions to workers after
making physical exercises.

 In particular, the
Manager/Superior/Safety
Officer would announce the
results of his safety
inspections on the previous
day, issue new safety
instructions and other
necessary notices.
EFFECTS OF
MEETING
 A morning safety meeting
allows all workers to prepare
for work on the day, enhances
group commitments and
improves workplace discipline
and safety awareness.

 Face (Left/Right/Up/Down) 4 counts each
 Shoulder Rotation
 Wrist Shake
 Chest Twist (2Left/ 2Right)
 Side Bend (2Left/ 2 Right)
 Hip Rotation
 Knee Rotation
 Inhale/Exhale DEEP (to relax the LUNGS)
