Struggles of Muslims for independence 1947

Pakistan came into existence on 14th of august 1947. It was the day when Pakistan achieved
independence as a result of Pakistan movement. It was led by the All India Muslim League
(AIML) under the supervision and leadership of our great Quaid” Muhammad Ali Jinnah”.

The first political movement was held in Ali Garh where another literary movement was led by
Sir Syed Ahmad Khan. All India Muslim league was established just in order to protect the
basic rights of Muslims under the British raj. Undoubted struggles and extreme efforts of our
founding fathers resulted in the creation of an independent state where every Muslim has equal
rights.

Muslims from every side took part in the struggle for independence including:

 Ulama and Mashaiks

 Students
 Urdu poets and writers
 Women

Especially women of Pakistan whose dedication and strong will was really appreciable. Vision of
great philosopher “Iqbal” was the powerful tool for the awareness among muslins.

The Urdu writers and poets really played a creditable role also for inspiring people with their
poetry and acting as a source of zeal and enthusiasm for Muslims. Women under the
supervision of Fatima Jinnah started door to door movements for intimation.

It’s very easy to write all this stuff on this topic but it’s impossible to write all those sacrifices
and problems, faced by our leaders and forefathers at that time. They suffered a lot and even lost
their families. The Muslims’ struggle for independence was really admirable.

“Thanks to those who sacrificed their today for our tomorrow”
