Problem prioritization:

In our team training program (TTP) in the health centers we observe different problems that are
related medical equipments, drugs and in over all working conditions of the health system.
Among these problems the following are the most ones.

 Accumulation of dust particles in medical equipments, drugs, stores and working

areas.(A)
 burning of heater element of autoclave causes risk for cross contamination.(B)
 Weak management Patient carding system.(C)
 Leakage in tube of suction machine and stethoscopes.(D)
 Weak adjustment of microscopes stage and blurring of lenses (E)

Introduction
Background:
In everyday life, there must be some physical elements that need to be controlled in order for
them to perform their expected behaviors. A control system therefore can be defined as a device,
or set of devices, that manages commands, directs or regulates the behavior of other device or
system. Consequently, automatic controlling involves designing a control system to function
with minimal or no human interference. [1]
Automatic water level controller is a series of functions to control the Automatic Water Pump
Controller Circuit in a reservoir or water storage. The water level sensor is made with a metal
plate mounted on the reservoir or water tank, with a sensor in the short to create the top level and
a detection sensor for detecting long again made for the lower level and ground lines connected
to the bottom of reservoirs or reservoir. [1]
Measurement of the height of water in a tank or a big structure such as dam is a major subject
of study in engineering. In an attempt to mitigate problems such as poor water allocation,
inefficient use, and lack of adequate and integrated water management, Automatic Water level
controller system is designed to monitor liquid level in an overhead tank or any liquid storage
system with an automatic pumping system attached to it to refill the tank once the liquid gets to
the lower threshold, while switching OFF the pump once the liquid gets to the higher threshold.
Automatic water level controller is this device controls, monitors and maintains the water level
in the overhead tank and ensures continuous flow of water round the clock eliminating the stress
of operating the pump manually thereby saving time, energy , water etc.[2]

Problem Statement:
Patients are under risky of cross contamination due to the failure on the existing autoclave to
sterilize. [3]

Significance of the project:

At the end of this project we will come up with an idea of virtual system design that will able to
operate an autoclave by automatic water level controlling system for sterilizing by preventing
autoclaves heater element from burning and from unwanted expending of money for spare part
of it and consequently keep patients from cross contamination.[3]

Scope of the project:
The scope this project is up to designing of automatic water level controlling system and its
protease simulation in the virtual level that can be viewed as a part of control system of water
reservoir in autoclave. [3]
