Things you need to DO before the Workshop
1. Download Financial Calculator 2016.zip (the link is inside Email)
2. TD Ameritrade (ThinkOrSwim) Account (www.tdameritrade.com.sg) – Create an account and load the
desktop software.
The instructions are given in ‘1 WA - Pre-Reading Materials 2018.pdf’ @ Page 62 - ‘TD Ameritrade

3. Chartnexus (www.chartnexus.com) – Create an account and load the software.
The instructions are given in ‘1 WA - Pre-Reading Materials 2018.pdf’ @ Page 70 - ‘Chart Nexus Account
Creation’.
*Please update to the latest Java system @ Page 69
*When asked for Primary Data, select KLSE as the free market to use.
The above softwares and Financial Calculator are needed as a practice platform for the program.

Items you need to BRING along to the Workshop

1. Personal Laptop with Power cables – Day 0, Day 2 and Day 3 only (Thursday, Saturday and Sunday). It is
optional to bring on Day 1 (Friday).
2. Internet – If you have your own portable broadband, please bring along. So that you do not need to
share the network with everyone else. If not, there are wireless connections provided.
