“AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE NAME OF PANTUKAN PEACEKEEPERS

ORGANIZATION TO KASANGGA SA KAPAYAPAAN NG PANTUKAN (KKP),


PRESCRIBING THE POLICIES AND GUIDELINES AND PROVIDING ITS DUTIES
AND RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNDS THEREFOR”

SECTION 1. TITLE OF THE ORDINANCE. This ordinance shall be known as


Kasangga sa Kapayapaan ng Pantukan (KKP);

SECTION 2. DECLARATION OF POLICY.

(AS IS)

SECTION 3. DEFINITION OF TERMS.

a. Purok – It refers to structure, building, house or edifice, in any form situated


within the territory of the purok organization used as a place of meeting,
discussion and affairs of purok members as defined and provided under
Provincial Ordinance No. 1-2008;
b. Purok Chairperson – One (1) of the eight (8) elected Purok Council appointed
by the Provincial Governor duly recommended by the Municipal Mayor, who
will lead the purok as provided under Provincial Ordinance No. 1-2008;
c. Pantukan Local Peace and Order Council- It is an organization established
and organized by the Local Government of Pantukan as provided in Section
116 of the Local Government Code;
d. Kasangga sa Kapayapaan ng Pantukan- It is an organization composed of
Purok Chairperson appointed by the Provincial Governor duly recommended
by the Municipal Mayor to assist in the maintenance of Peace and Order in the
municipality.

SECTION 4. COMPOSITION AND MEMBERSHIP. The Kasangga sa Kapayapaan


ng Pantukan (KKP) shall be composed of all purok chairperson of the municipality
appointed by the Provincial Governor and the recommendation of the Municipal Mayor.

SECTION 5. QUALIFICATION. A member of the Kasangga sa Kapayapaan ng


Pantukan (KKP) must be a Purok Chairperson as defined in this ordinance, whose
appointment by the Provincial Governor and recommendation by the Municipal Mayor
to the organization is required;

Note: Bali duha na iya requirements: 1. Appointment ni Gov. and 2. Recommendation sa Mayor
