ADDENDUM NO. CBS-001

As a result of the Pre-Bid Conference held on 25 September 2014, the Bids and Awards
Committee of Duty Free Philippines Corporation would like to notify all prospective
bidders of the following revisions, forms/documents to be included in the submission of
their bid for the Construction of DFPC Bacolod Store.

1. A revised Section VI. Specifications supersedes the previously issued. Please refer
“Annex A”.
2. A revised E1 Drawings supersedes the previously issued. Please refer to “Annex B”.
3. A revised Section VIII. Bill of Quantities supersedes the previously issued. Please
refer to “Annex C”.
4. A revised Bidding Form No. 6 Bill of Materials supersedes the previously issued.
Please refer to “Annex D”.

All the other provisions, requirements, forms/documents in the bidding documents,

except the foregoing revisions/modifications, shall remain in full force and effect.

VI. SPECIFICATIONS
Construction of DFPC Bacolod Store

A. Glass and Aluminum Works:
- For fixed glass use 10mm thk clear glass frameless, tempered with U-channel
(stainless clip) embedded to flooring (provide sample).
- Frameless patch fitting double leaf swing door with side fixed panel.
- ½ thk clear glass (tempered)
- Patch fitting (hardware) top, bottom, lock, H type handle
- Dorma brand floor hinges.

B. Interior Walls, Ceiling, Wooden Doors and Finishes:

- Use ¼” thk 4’ x 8’ marine plywood for wooden door.
- Use ¼” thk 4’ x 8’ ficem board for walls with 1.5mm x 2” x 3” x 10’ metal stud at .
60m o.c. both ways.
- Use 9mm thk 4’ x 8, gypsum board for ceiling framing in standard size and
thickness.
- Use flat white latex paint finish for ceiling and semi-gloss white latex for walls.

C. Telephone Network infrastructure:

- One to one UTP clip Cat 6 cable from propose location to data cabinet.
- UTP Cat 6 cable
- Cat 6 I/O port with box
- Data cabinet with Cat 6 patch panel, continuous tray and wire manager.
- Provide end to end cabling solution.
- Multi mode indoor 4 core FOC 50 micron OM3
- Fiber patch cord
- Gigabit Transceiver (UTP to SC)
- Fabricated FOC box
- 24 port Gigabit switch with Link Aggregation Protocol and Lifetime
warranty

D. Steel Reinforcement of Roll-Up Door / False Column:

- Use ¼”x 2’ x 2’ Steel angular frame / bracket, fully weld for reinforcement of roll-
up door.
- Use 5” Ø G.I. pipe schedule 40 for support (painted with epoxy primer)
- Use ¾thk Marine plywood, lacquer enamel finish for covering painted false
columns (color for approval by the Procuring Entity’s authorized representative)
- Use ¼” x 1½” x 1½” steel frame / corbel (painted with epoxy primer)

E. Façade Signage (Indoor) (See complete detail on working drawing)

- Duty Free logo 2½” background acrylic light box and ¼” thk acrylic text of DFP
logo with 1.2mm thk stainless steel cover of “weave” pattern, back lit 100%
yellow acrylic with back lit LED strip with logo hairline finish, 1.5mm thk with
LED strip “Mabuhay” word - acrylic: txt built-up backlit with LED strip light font;
back ham script – bold color: black DFP 100% yellow acrylic water mark Duty
Free Philippines logo in clear transparent sticker frosted matte finish.

F. Temporary Enclosure:
- Use ¼” thk 4’ x 8’ ordinary plywood painted white (outer wall only).
- Use 2”x3” metal stud and provide door (entrance & exit).
- Provide 1.2mtrs x 3mtrs tarpaulin “soon to open” (Procuring Entity to provide
sample).

G. Electrical Materials:
*Lighting Accessories
- Duplex outlet (National 10 Amp)
- Switch (National rating as indicated)

*Conduit (EMT) Electrical Metallic Tubing or Equivalent.

- Panel board (Westinghouse circuit breaker or equivalent) bolted type (rating
as indicated in the electrical plan).
- Wall-mounted LED Emergency light unit 12 volts – 8 Ah
- Elbow-C clamp as indicated in the plan.
- Stranded wire (Phelps Dodge) 4 conductor as indicated in the plan.
- Provide manually operated Fire Alarm System.

* Electrical Hardware:
- GA #18, 4”x 4” square box, 2” x 4” utility box.
- Pull box wire gutter GA #18 painted gray finish, size as indicated in the plan.

H. Mechanical Works:
- Use 3TR Mitsubishi ceiling cassette ACU.
- Single Phase
- 220 volts
- 2.0 Hp wall mounted
