REFLECTION PAPER

 PEEKAY or PK

Before you read my reflection paper about the movie, please kindly
understand what is the meaning of religion, what’s the purpose of this
and why do we follow it’s rules?. First and foremost the main thing I
observed with the movie is that, many of us believed that we’re doing
the right thing like following the rules of our religion, putting efforts in
doing it but sometimes we don’t realize that while we following it we
forgot how to respect others and to see the circumstances of others, in
short we neglect it too much and that leads to us being so insensitive.
Some people pretend that they know what’s best for you, thinking that
it must be like that and that it isn’t good for you, they don’t let you
decide for yourself like Jaggu’s father, he control the life of his daughter
by ruining the marriage and happiness of Jaggu because of the said
“RELIGIOUS DIFFERENCES”. Everyone deserves to choose what should
be and what shouldn’t be in their lives. IT’S NOT A CRIME TO ATLEAST
DECIDE FOR YOUR CHILD BUT NEVER CONTROL THEIR LIFE BECAUSE EVERY
LIVING THING IN THE UNIVERSE DESERVES TO HAVE A FREEDOM, and
instead of doing so, they can support and give some advice so that
they can still guide their children and not control them. So religious
differences should not be a hindrance with two individuals that deeply
loving each other, because all of us is created by Almighty Father, and
he said that everyone should be equal like JAGGU AND SARFARAZ, and
lastly the fake followers of God, using the word of God for fame or for
him to manipulate the minds of other people, it’s not right to make the
people believe in things that is far from the truth. All of us is equal no one
is more powerful, it’s just that people are too greedy with what they
want in life, we must also respect each and everybody, even though
we have different beliefs in this world. RESPECT IS THE KEY AND THE
WORLD WILL BE A BETTER PLACE.
 SUMMARY OF PK

A humanoid aline named PK because people called him PEEKAY which

means DRUNK in HINDU. So PK landed in earth naked for his research in
Rajasthan but got stranded when the remote of his spaceship is stolen
by Tapasvi a fraud GODMAN. While he is travelling in the Earth he meets
Jaggu, an indian girl that is engaged to a man named Sarfaraz but the
marriage did not happen because of Jaggu’s father. Jaggu help PK to
find the remote so that he can go home, but slowly, PK fall inlove with
Jaggu, and PK finds his remote to Tapasvi, PK went home without telling
his real feelings to Jaggu, years after Pk returned for another new
research.
 DANGEROUS MIND

A movie where you will realize that there will be times when school
administration lacks in connecting with the students, because they’re
too focus in teaching knowledge to their respective students. The
problem in the movie is what we commonly face here in the present
and hoping that it will stop in the future. Based on my experience ones
you are known for being bad or some sort, people will judge you and
will remain in their minds that you are like that and you don’t have a
chance to change. People judge easily, they make it seem like the lives
of others depends on what they only did wrong and didn't give others a
chance to show who they really are. It doesn’t mean that his a bad
person when he did something wrong or not favorable to the eyes of
many people. Everything that is happening has a reason, not everyone
who did wrong is bad, we have to give a chance to them because
maybe they’re suffering under big circumstances in their lives we just
don’t know it. We have to reach out to people who don’t have
someone to lean on, and sometimes it takes one person to make the
other believe that he/she is worthy. It sucks when you think that society
is really a big immature place. There will always be a cruel times where
in you just don’t know how to face it, and yes, we all need someone we
can talk to. For me the lesson is that we have to be strong enough to
solve all the problems we have, but in order to be stronger is that we
can have someone in our lives that will push us to do our best not only
the best but the the decision that all of us will benefit.
 SUMMARY OF DANGEROUS MINDS

LouAnne Johnson, a discharged U.S marine, applies for a teaching job

in high school. When she started her first day in the school she applied,

she finds herself confronted with a classroom of tough, sullen teenagers,

all from lower-class and underprivileged backgrounds, involved in gang
warfare and drug pushing, flatly refusing to engage with anything. She
did everything she can to motivate her students to have interest in
studying.
