Mini biography
Shakespeare Is thought to be born on April 23rd 1564. He was married to Anne
Hathaway in 1585 and had a daughter and a set of twins one of which had died.
By the 1590s Shakespeare had started writing and by 1597 he had made 15 plays
of the 37 credited to him. Although Shakespeare is mostly known as a poet he was
also an entrepreneur. In 1599 he had created the largest open air theater in
London called the glow theater. Shakespeare's company the lord chamberlain's
men was changed to the king's men due to king James becoming a patron in
1603. It is unknown how Shakespeare died but it is believed he died on his
birthday in 1616. He is credited with adding about 3000 words to the English
language. Most people believe Shakespeare wrote his own plays but some
believe he is not the rightful owner of his work due to him not having a great
education and some of his plays being similar to others.
The life of a bard
Shakespeare had a girlfriend who was 8 years older who he married and had a
daughter and a set of twins. To support his family and to avoid personal problems
he left home and took up writing. He took inspiration from other stories stealing
elements of writing from other playwrights. hakespeare’s wrote his first plays
which was a trilogy about the king which gained a lot of popularity and later
mastered all genres in writing. In his spare time he wrote sonnets and practiced
further.

Mysterious origins
Although Shakespeare's work has been interpreted and performed for centuries
nobody knows much about his personal life and we only know about specific
events but his life is still shrouded in mystery.
Early life
Very little is known except for the date he was baptized so scholars believe that he
was born three days earlier in April 23rd 1564.
Married life
When Shakespeare was 18 he got his girlfriend Anne Hathaway who was 8 years
older pregnant so they got married in 1582. They had 1 daughter and a set of
twins. Both remained married until Shakespeare's death in April 23rd 1616 Anne
Hathaway outlived Shakespeare by 7 years.
Theatrical beginnings
Shakespeare was a poet. No manuscripts of his work were recovered so if he
wrote more plays we wouldn’t know because of that we only have the work that
was printed.
Establishing himself
Shakespeare started writing in the 1590s by 1597 he had made 15 plays. In 1599
he created the glow theater which was the largest in London. Shakespeare’s
company the lord chamberlain’s men was patronized by the king giving him more
popularity. Also during his time he added 3000 words to the English language
Writing style
His plays were made in free verse although some passages were made in a
variety of different forms of poetry and/or simple prose. His sonnets were written in
iambic pentameter except for one which was written in iambic tetrameter.
Early work
Shakespeare’s early mostly consisted of comedies and histories his work in these
genres are regarded as some of his best work.
