Making sure that ‘our children are ready to learn without distraction is our mission. | want to inform you that today a code red lockdown drill was called by administration, Its mandated that all schools perform this type of drill at least once a year to prepare staff and students to react appropriately in case of emergency. This was unannounced to ensure that all members ofthe school community took it seriously and understood the urgency to respond. All safety protocols were closely followed to ensure that all members of our schoo! ‘community felt safe. As partners in the education process, we ask that you remind your student to always follow the assigned school safety expectations, including not using electronic devices during codes and drills.
