Relative to the Memorandum entitled, Requirements for all Civil Society

Organizations (CSOs) and International Agencies (IA) envisioned to
engage in Preventing and Countering Violent ErGremism (P/CVE) Projects
and activities in the Philippines dated 2O lrlarch 2019, the Preventing and
Countering Violent Extremism Project Management Office (PCVE PMO) would like
to request the following:
A. For CSO and IA coordinating with DILG for possible PCVE programs'and
activities from April 2019 onwards, as per advisory, please facilitate the
submissions of the following:

. Letter addressed to the SECR.ETARY of the Interior and Local

Government explaining the proposed projects/activities, Cc: the DILG
Regional Director and the Assistant Secretary for Peace and Security;
o Conc€pt Note; and
o PCVE Programs/Activities Information Sheet - CSO Form 1

B. For CSO and IA with existing PCVE projects in your respective regions,
please request them to fill up the attached PCVE Programs/Activities
Information Sheet - CSO Form 2

The deadline of submission for ftem A shall be dependent on the intent of CSO
and IA. For Item B, please submit on or before June 30, 2019. The scanned
documents should be sent through e-mail pcve.dilg@gmail.com and
dilgpcvei.monitoring@gmail.com . While the hardcopy should be sent through mail

The Department of the Interior and Local Government supports the

implementation of programs, projects and activities related to .the
prevention and countering violent extremism (P/CVE). A multi-sectoral
participation from the local communities and other stakeholders shall foster
a strategic direction in addressing P/CVE. With the serious threats of
terrorism, the Department recognizes the important roles of civil society
organizations (CSOs) and international agencies on this issue. Thus, a more
organized and concefted efforts in the programming of PICVE activities is
vital. This shall ensure alignment of strategies, sharing of resources and
government monitoring.

line with this, all Reg ional Offices shall requ ire international
agencies to submit the following doc prior to the im ple mentation of
P/CVE projects in their respective areas:

Upon submission of the requirements by the proponents, the Regional

Offices shall forward the documents to the Preventing and Countering
Violent Extremism-Project Management Office (PCVE-PMO) for
consultation, vetting and approval of their proposed PICVE pr{ects and
activities. Scanned copy of the documents shall be sent via e-mail to
pcve.dilg@gmail.com or d i lg pcvei. monitoring@gmai l.com or the hardcopy

Quezon Avenue, West Triangle, Quezon City.

The PCVE PMO shall be responsible in releasing official response/comments

on the submitted documents for monitoring. The Regional Offices'
