TIMETABLE FIT: The Ss have previously worked on Present Tense Simple for repeated
actions.
AIMS:
A1: to introduce new vocabulary related to school instruments, colors and geometrical
shapes;
A2: to practice the new vocabulary;
A3: to introduce the use of adverbs of frequency with the Present Tense Simple;
A4: to practice the use of Present Tense Simple with adverbs of frequency.
ASSUMPTIONS: The Ss have already acquired certain words related to colors, school
objects and geometrical shapes, and they are already familiar with the use of adverbs of
frequency.
ANTICIPATED PROBLEMS: Ss know how are pronounced the words related to colors,
school objects and geometrical shapes, but they might not know how they are spelled.
Also Ss might not know the right place of the adverbs of frequency in a sentence, or they
might omit to put the “-es/s” at the Present Tense Simple.
Adverbs of frequency
S + Adv. of frequency + V
Ex: I always drink milk in the morning.
S + TO BE + Adv. of frequency
Ex: He is always happy.
