MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT

This Memorandum of Agreement is entered into this _____ day of May 2019, in Cagayan
de Oro City, by and between:

The TAGLIMAO NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL – TUMPAGON ANNEX, a public high

school, herein represented by its School Principal JUDSON M. PASTRANO, Principal I, with
office address at Tumpagon, Cagayan de Oro City, hereinafter called the FIRST PARTY
-and-

hereinafter called the SECOND PARTY

WITNESSETH:

That for and in consideration of a desire to contribute a share for the cause of education of
Filipino learners through the Adopt-a-School Program of Taglimao National High School-
Tumpagon Annex, the SECOND PARTY has freely and voluntarily given, transferred and
conveyed by way of donation or support services to the FIRST PARTY.

WHEREAS, the Department of Education of the Philippines hereinafter referred to as

“DepEd”, promote the R.A. 8525 otherwise known as the Adopt-a-School Program to schools
for the implementation of programs and projects;

WHEREAS, the FIRST PARTY, Taglimao National High School-Tumpagon Annex to carryout
the Adopt-a-School Program;

WHEREAS, the SCHOOL engages with community partners / stakeholders to benefit the
leaners and community outreach;

WHEREAS, the SCHOOL provides the venue through its school facilities for activities in
coordination to the SECOND PARTY;

WHEREAS, the SECOND PARTY, ____________________________ to coordinate activities

during the 2019 Brigada Eskwela through the Adopt-a-School Program in collaboration with
community partners/stakeholders;

WHEREAS, the SECOND PARTY helps voluntarily within their limited capacity to address the
school and learners needs through provision of educational supplies, instructional materials,
cleaning materials and supplies, or construction materials and supplies;

WHEREAS, the SECOND PARTY agrees this Memorandum of Agreement binding within
their capacity for three (3) years upon effectivity;

WHEREAS, the SCHOOL and the SECOND PARTY, hereinafter collectively referred to as
“the parties”, undertake to collaborate for the successful implementation of the helping
displaced learners cognizant of the need for special protection of the child and with the best
interest of the learner at heart;
NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the foregoing premises, the PARTIES
hereby agree as follows:
