Apple 27-inch iMac with Retina 5K MK462LL Review:

The Apple 27-inch iMac with Retina 5K MK462LL is a

computer that very beautifully serves it's purpose and
sometimes even exceeds its potential. Its an amazing
device that comes with a ton of features including its
groundbreaking technology that'll certainly hold good over
time along with its attractive looks and a big 27-inch
display. The connectivity options looks good too with a
number of ports and WiFi plus Bluetooth. Simply to say it's
a great machine that is built to last a long time, but you'll
also have to pay a very handsome amount of money for it.

This iMac checks all the right boxes with its design, made
of aluminum it looks identical to its predecessor but feels
very refreshing. It boasts an incredibly thin 5mm unibody
design with a sloping curved back panel that stores the
computer's components. It's a ridiculously good looking
machine that'll stand out even on the most mundane of
desks. But i also had some issues with it such as its lack
of height adjustability which leaves you with the only
option of physically lifting it onto a pile of books or a box
which can be dangerous considering its price. Also the big
black bezels around its screen also needs a little trimming
for a more sleeker look.

Now coming to the star of the show the 27-inch Retina 5K

display which offers 5,120 x 2,880 resolution that adds up
to 14.7 million pixels making it one of the best display I've
ever seen. It had a wider P3 colour gamut and is able to
deliver 25 percent more colors than its predecessor. Also
it had a full 100% coverage of the basic sRGB colour
gamut along with 86.1 percent cover in terms of the Adobe
RGB colour space which when all combined makes it a
very amazing display. All-in-all it had great color accuracy
making it perfect for professionals. The viewing angles
were good too as i was able to get the same quality from
any angle i was watching and with its 466 nits brightness it
was also amazingly bright.

Our unit includes Skylake quad-core i5 processors from

Intel running at 3.2GHz and can also be overclocked up to
3.6 GHz with its Intel Turbo Boost 2.0 technology. It's a
great processor that uses low voltage thus reducing power
consumption for better energy efficiency while still
providing amazingly fast performance. And coupled with
8GB RAM (can also be upgraded), this iMac allows you to
do any kind of task more quickly and efficiently. Also
featuring an AMD Radeon R9 M380 GPU it provides you
with great graphic performance that'll be able to satisfy
any professional. For storage, the iMac has a 1TB 7200
rpm HDD and for its OS it runs the Mac OS X El Capitan
operating system.

For ports, the iMac has four USB 3.0 ports, two
Thunderbolt 2.0 ports, SD card slot, a Gigabit Ethernet
port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. And for wireless
connectivity you get the latest technology including
Bluetooth 4.0 and dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi. Also you get
two built-in speakers that provides good stereo surround
sound, good enough for watching TV shows and movies.
For video calling you get a HD FaceTime 1.2MP camera
although its quality may not be too good but still it's good
enough for skype calling. And for controlling the computer
you get a Magic Keyboard and a Magic Mouse 2 which
can be charged from the iMac using the included Lightning
to USB Cable.

Personally i think this is Apple's one of the best product.

As a computer it have got all the great features that are
required for a great computer. Its perfect for a wide range
of users whether you need it for day-to-day use or for a
more professional use this iMac will be able to do any
tasks you threw at it and that too very smoothly and
quickly without any hiccups. Although its price may not be
very affordable but still it's also not very expensive too so
anyone who want it will definitely be able to buy it. So the
bottom line is that it's a great device and you should
definitely go for it if you can.
