My teaching Philosophy  

I believe that all children are capable of learning everything that must be learned but that 

they each learn it in their own way and at their own pace. There are a lot of ways to learn one 

topic but each kid gets one way while the other kid learns a whole other way. Children learn 

differently so I feel like the teacher should try to teach at least 3 ways of how to do one thing.  

My main goal is to teach different ways for one topic to make it more simple for the kids to 

learn in their own way. I want to make sure that the children are actually at school to learn and 

that they learn in a way that they will actually remember. According to Kidspot they say” 

Learning and school is not a one-size fits all. Children have different ways of learning which the 

education experts have roughly grouped these into three basic styles – auditory, visual and 

kinaesthetic. When parents know their child's best way to learn, they can help their child learn 

more effectively” This backs up what I feel. This proves that there isn’t just one way children are 

able to learn they can all learn one topic but some may learn it with the teacher actually talking to 

them while others need to physically see it . 

This is where the teachers come in and plays a really really big role because that's who the 

kids personally rely on to learn different things. The kids are relying on them to teach them 

different methods. The teachers are the ones to have a big impact on the kids because they are 

basically the ones with the power in their hand on if the child learns or not.

At the same time students have a huge role. Their role is to ask questions to have an open 

mind because if they don’t ask questions then no one will ever really know if they got it. No one 

will be able to help them because they didn’t ask questions . There are some students who think 

the teacher doesn’t teach but they really are. Their are just so many types of ways to teach one 

thing that the teacher doesn’t know which one that one student will actually get.  

The main variable that really promotes learning will have to be the environment. The things 

that are part of the environment are like the classroom setting , the teacher and also the 

classmates. A lot of students struggle to learn if they don’t feel safe in their environment. They 

will focus more on their safety and other things other than actually learning. This is why teachers 

are always supposed to have a welcoming environment
